Coffee is for some people, truly, the most important meal of the day.
They can survive without breakfast, but ask them to function without their morning joe and you’re likely to encounter looks of incredulity.
Knowing that, la Madeleine, 1954 24 Avenue NW in Norman, is embracing National Coffee Day on Oct. 1 by inviting guests to enjoy a free regular or large drip coffee with any online or app purchase.
If you’re looking for something a bit closer to home, you can always support one of these 16 locally owned coffee shops instead.
